We’re thrilled to share some exciting updates on the St. Joan of Arc Foundation’s school building project here in Bettendorf, Iowa! Thanks to the hard work and dedication of so many hands — and the support of our amazing community — the vision for our new school is steadily becoming a reality.
Site Progress: The outside of the campus is starting to take real shape as site paving has officially begun. The fresh pathways and parking areas are paving the way — quite literally — for a welcoming and accessible environment for our students, families, and visitors.
Interior Finishes: Inside the building, the transformation is even more inspiring:
The hallways are getting their final touch with the installation of beautiful, durable finish epoxy flooring.
Casework (the cabinetry and built-ins that bring both function and beauty to classrooms and offices) is being installed throughout the building.
Our gymnasium — destined to host countless games, assemblies, and events — is receiving its wood flooring. It’s already easy to imagine the sounds of sneakers squeaking and crowds cheering!
Junior high students will be especially excited to see that their lockers are in place, ready for the first day of school.
The Chapel: At the heart of our new school is the chapel, a sacred space where faith and community will flourish.
Framing is complete, giving clear form to this special space.
Drywall installation is underway, bringing the chapel even closer to its finished look.
Perhaps most exciting of all, the custom stained glass has been completed and is ready for installation. These beautiful windows will fill the chapel with light and color, creating an atmosphere of prayer and reflection for generations to come.
Looking Ahead: Every day brings us one step closer to opening the doors of our new school. We are filled with gratitude for the many people who have made this progress possible — through prayer, support, and generous gifts. The vision of St. Joan of Arc Foundation is truly coming to life!
Stay tuned for more updates as we move toward completion. Please continue to keep this project in your prayers as we work to create a school where faith, learning, and community will thrive.
