Building a Future: April 2025 Construction Update

Dear Friends of the St. Joan of Arc Foundation,

We’re thrilled to bring you the latest progress from our building site here in Bettendorf! As we move through the heart of spring, the energy on-site is palpable, and we’re seeing exciting transformations each day.

A Major Milestone Reached:
We’re happy to share that all utilities have now been fully installed, tested, and are officially up and running. This critical step clears the way for final site preparations to move forward without a hitch. Grading is in its final stages, and we’re looking ahead with anticipation as paving is set to begin soon. Let’s all keep praying for dry weather to keep everything moving smoothly!

Exterior Beauty, Interior Progress:
The exterior brickwork is now complete—and it’s looking absolutely beautiful. Inside, the finishing touches are coming together quickly. 

Our teams are hard at work installing light fixtures, casework, ceiling finishes, final coats of paint, and ceramic tile throughout the building. Every day, more pieces fall into place.

Game On in the Gym:
In the gymnasium, all basketball equipment has been successfully installed, and we’re now preparing for the wood floor installation, which is slated to begin later this month. It’s exciting to see this space take shape—a place where our youth and community will come together for years to come.
