We are excited to share that Claudia Meenan, most recently the Donor Services & Operations Director for the Moline Regional Community Foundation, has come on board as the Director of Development for St. Joan of Arc Foundation. She will be working with Tim Voss, our Steier Group campaign manager, and with parish staff during January as we transition into the pledge-fulfillment phase of the campaign. She will then take the lead on ongoing fundraising initiatives.
Please extend a warm welcome to Claudia. You can reach her by email at [email protected].
New gifts and pledges continue to come in to the office even as parishioners who’ve already pledged have begun their pledge payments. More than $17.2 million has been committed toward the campaign, approximately 75% of which remains to be received. Most of these outstanding pledges are scheduled to come in over the next three years. Claudia will oversee these efforts, as well as making certain that we acknowledge gifts appropriately and promptly, keep our donors and parishioners up to date with our progress, and continue to seek support from local businesses, foundations and LCS alumni.
Our contract with the Steier Group, our fundraising counsel for the campaign, is scheduled to end on January 26th, but our relationship doesn’t. After presenting our campaign’s final report to campaign and parish leadership on January 30th, the Steier Group will continue to assist us with grant submissions and stay in touch to make sure we’re following best practices to secure the gifts that have been pledged. Claudia will be the key contact person to coordinate ongoing support from the Steier Group.
In the meantime, the need to reach our Challenge Goal remains. If you’ve yet to pledge, it’s never too late! Just visit https://www.OneFaithFamilyFuture.com/Pledge
If you’ve pledged, but haven’t set up automatic payments from your checking account or credit cards, you can do that here: https://OneFaithFamilyFuture.com/Donate (Tip: If setting up periodic payments, compute the periodic amount before you get started.)
THANK YOU for your investment in this effort, in our shared mission and ministries, in support of Catholic education and our diocesan priests. Your support is a blessing to everyone we serve and is an example of what we can achieve when we come together as a one community in Christ.
